Good Morning Vietnam- Day 2

Day 2- Off to Halong Bay

We woke up bright and early to travel to Halong Bay. We traveled through the city of Hanoi on the bus and enjoyed the sights of the bustling city.

We stopped along the way to take some photos.

Once we got to Halong Bay we boarded a junk to have a bit of a cruise through the mountainous lumps in the ocean. It was quite foggy but still beautiful. WE ALSO BOUGHT $1 HATS! (refer to photographs below.)

A family came to the side of the ship in their little boat to sell us fruit.

We then went into some amazing caves. They were huge and lit up with coloured lights.

We then exited the caves into blinding light and the magnificent view of Halong Bay once again for the boat trip back to the bus.

Then of course the bus ride home, quickly becoming a strangely familiar and comfortable place to be.
